Near the Singing Waters
Where time forgets its name,
Shadows rest without sorrow,
Waters hum a lullaby—
Soft, and endlessly true.
Each ripple carries
a memory not yet spoken,
a silence that knows
the shape of your heart.
Waltzing footsteps
twirl the colors of a flowing dress,
drawing me near to you once more
beside the clear, singing waters.
Rest here, my love,
no longer rushing forward,let the quiet softly whisper—
reminding who you are.
